Service
Cutting and preparation
Material cut to the dimensions in the specification
What the service covers
Cutting to size takes an operation off your line that does not need your machinery but does take your time. We cut material to the dimension list supplied with the order and prepare the pieces for further processing or for despatch.
Before we start we confirm the cutting list, the tolerances and how pieces are to be marked. The first pieces are measured and submitted for approval — a correction on one piece costs less than a correction on a whole batch.
Consigned material is reconciled, offcuts included. The summary shows how much material went in, how many pieces came out and what remains.
