Privacy policy
How personal data submitted through this website is processed.
Data controller
The controller of personal data submitted through the forms on this website is EMAS Logistics. The controller's contact details are published on the contact page.
What we collect
We collect only the data you provide yourself through the site's forms:
- Quote request — name, company, email address, telephone, lane and cargo details, optional attachment.
- Contact form — name, company, email address, telephone, message.
- Job application — name, email address, telephone, town, CV document and anything you include in the application text.
- Newsletter — email address.
We also record the IP address and browser identifier with each submission. This is used solely to limit abuse and is deleted together with the submission.
Purpose and legal basis
- Handling quote requests and messages — Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR (steps prior to entering a contract and the controller's legitimate interest).
- Running recruitment — Article 6(1)(a) and (c) GDPR (the candidate's consent and obligations under employment law).
- Sending the newsletter — Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
Retention
- Quote requests and messages — for as long as needed to handle the matter and for the limitation period of any related claims.
- Job applications — until the recruitment process ends, or for 12 months where separate consent for future recruitment has been given.
- Newsletter subscriptions — until consent is withdrawn.
Recipients
Data may be shared with parties that support the controller's operations: the hosting provider, the email service provider and — to the extent needed to perform a movement — carriers and customs agents. Those parties process the data only on the controller's instructions.
Security
The connection to this site is encrypted. Documents submitted by candidates are stored outside the server's public directory and are accessible only to authorised staff signed in to the admin panel. Access to data is restricted by role and is logged.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to rectify, erase or restrict its processing, to data portability, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
To exercise these rights, contact us using the details published on the contact page.
