What the service covers

Most transport damage happens not on the road but during loading and unloading. Cargo handling covers transhipment, repacking, picking and securing goods for onward movement. We record the condition of the load on receipt and on release, so it is clear at which point any damage occurred.

Common questions

The questions we get asked most

  1. 01

Do you check goods on receipt?

Yes. We check quantity and visible damage, and report any discrepancy before the receipt is closed.

  2. 02

    Can you repack during transhipment?

Yes. Any additional work is agreed before the delivery arrives, so the transfer is not held up.

  3. 03

    How is damage documented?

With a description and a photograph attached to the receipt record and sent with the report.
